Things that change your allowance
- Mixed cabins: if one booking has flights in different classes, the highest class allowance applies to the whole trip.
- Trips starting or ending in the USA or Canada: the allowance of the place where the trip starts applies to the whole journey.
- Codeshare flights follow the IATA "most significant carrier" rule, so another airline's allowance may apply.
- Babies: infants get their own checked allowance plus one stroller or collapsible carrycot for free. An infant with their own seat can also bring a car seat for free.
- Sports equipment counts towards your checked allowance if it fits the size and weight limits.
